State Law in California changed allowing direct access.

State law in California changed in January 2014 allowing for direct access to physical therapy.  This means you can be seen in our clinics by one of our physical therapists and be covered under your qualified health plan without having to first get a referral from your physician.

If you were thinking about coming to Alves & Martinez PT for care of an injury, but do not have a referral, direct access is the answer! Give us a call and schedule an appointment time that is convenient for you and we’ll take care of the rest.

At your consultation you’ll receive a comprehensive evaluation and communication with your doctor’s office regarding your condition, plan of care and applicable progress notes.  Our coordinated approach allows your providers to work together in fast, safe, effective treatment of you problem.
