The staff are amazing and all so helpful. I'm trying to put off knee surgery and Susana has been the most helpful therapist I know. She listens well and explains what she's trying to do to help heal my knee. She has a huge amount of knowledge and so does all of the aides who are also extremely helpful. I love using the Pilates equipment there too, I feel it adds strength without being weight bearing. I will definitely use this clinic for any future needs.

I have been to Alves & Martinez twice. A few years ago because of severe back pain and currently to improve my over overall strength. The exercises they gave me for my back pain helped right away and resolved the problem after a few weeks. Now Jeff Alves is helping with my strength training and I am getting stronger. He did a thorough assessment and clearly identified the location of my issue and what gave me relief. He provided corrective treatment and gave me a small set of highly effective exercises. Been going there for about 3 weeks now and the staff is great and Jeff really knows what he is doing and is very helpful. I look forward to going because I know how I will be treated and what kind of care I will get.

Walked in with extreme lower back pain. Met Susanna, who spent a considerable amount of time probing and massaging to find the Offensive muscles and joints that were causing the problem. She worked up a special set of exercises to strengthen the muscles and was very descriptive in explaining the Problem and solution. In two weeks, all pain was gone and I was back to enjoying my daily activities.

So far I have been getting all the care with my new replacement knee. I am being treated with respect and trust them in decision making with my care. I like the way they are so protective of how you are feeling before every exercise. I am getting stronger and confident with my new knee. I have been to many other physical therapy places here in Sacramento and I am happy to say I have found the right one.

Used A&M physical therapy for shoulder pain relief and pre lumbar surgery prescribed by my doctor and it was extremely effective. Currently going through rehab process with A&M for post lumbar surgery prescribed by my surgeon. Staff is very experienced in all aspects of my rehabilitation, especially Karma, focusing on healing and physical progress. Grateful for the results I’ve experienced, and continue to experience with the help from A&M.

I first met her when she treated my son, who has special needs and can be challenging to work with at times. Billy Martinez recognized within two visits that the extent of my injuries was beyond the scope of his practice. He referred me to my primary care physician for MRI diagnostics. After review of the results, I was referred to an orthopedic surgeon. Two days after the consultation, I had a total hip replacement to deal with a labral tear, severe osteoarthritis, and a fractured femur. I am grateful that Dr, Martinez didn't power through trying to mend me and potentially exacerbating the situation. I expect to return to Billy Martinez when released for post-surgical physical therapy. I have profound respect for his professionalism.
