We recognize that you may be in pain, recovering from recent surgery, or uncertain about what to expect in physical therapy. Our goal is to make your first appointment as simple as possible.

How to plan for your first appointment:

Insurance Coverage

It’s always best for you to know your insurance coverage and benefits. It can be confusing so our friendly staff will call you insurance and verify coverage, benefits and deductible, co-pay or coinsurance you may have. If you do not have insurance, we offer affordable self-pay options. Please contact us to learn more.

Arrive Early

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to complete necessary paperwork.

What to bring

It is best to bring or wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Bring or wear shorts if being seen for your knee and a tank top for your shoulder. Gym shoes work well or non-skid socks. Have your insurance card, co-payment (if applicable), and prescription from your physician (if applicable).

Please bring your new paperwork with you.

Initial Evaluation

Your expert physical therapist will perform a thorough and comprehensive examination, discuss an appropriate treatment plan and answer any questions. This is followed by day one treatment for your problem and assignment of a home exercise program to follow.

We want your experience to be as smooth as possible, from your first visit to your last session. Don’t be afraid to ask questions.
